New S 60 T8 Polestar Edition

Hi! I just bought a 2020 S60 T8 Polestar and am having a great time with the car. I'm at about 1000 miles on the car (and still on the original tank of gas but now below 1/4 tank). I was going to buy a Tesla, but for the money it seemed very 'plain' inside.
In any event, I'm just trying to figure out when the best time to switch the car into 'B' transmission mode is vs just keeping it in 'hybrid' and D mode. If I'm just going back and forth to my office I keep it in the Pure mode and that usually gives me enough electricity to handle the round trip.
I have been in 'gas saving' playing around mode and haven't even started trying to figure out how much fun the 'polestar' mode is. My wife has a 2019 Volvo XC90 and loved it, so that's part of the reason I got into this version.
Any tips would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
James
