Newb Oil Change Question

Default Newb Oil Change Question

Please forgive my ignorance, I just purchased a 2004 s60 2.4. I have never owned a volvo before so...
I want change my oil and would like a kind walkthrough on how to do so. Im very familiar with the process
on any other car just not this one. Any help?

You will need a oil filter cap wrench to replce the filter cartrige.
Other than that it is the same as another car.
If it is a turbo change the oil every 3K if Non-turbo change every 5K.

ok, advice on where to get the oil filter cartridge and cap wrench? Also location of drain plug (im assuming under the car somwhere)oil filter cartridge, and crank capacity. 2.4L non turbo. Thanks

That is the tool but you might be able to get cheaper somewhere else. Maybe someone will chime in with a cheaper place.

The drain plug is in the back of the oil pan.
It holds 6 Quarts of oil.
