Default Overseas Delivery question

Hi all,
I've never owned a Volvo, but have fallen in love with the new S60. My brother, who buys ONLY Volvos, told me about the overseas program. I can't see any down side to it and I've read every word of the fine print.

My question is if anyone knows where I can see pictures of the exterior/interior colors that are offered in the Overseas program that aren't offered here in the U.S. I see many colors listed on the OS web page, but can't find representations of those colors.

Thank you for any help you can give.

I'm not familiar with the overseas program. Are you just wondering what type of cars are available in Europe that are not offered here? Or are you specific about pictures?

Not sure if it'll help. You can compare the volvo.com/us vs. volvo.com/uk.

And what do you mean by listed on the OS web page?

Hi Mister. Sorry, I wasn't clear. You can read about the Overseas Delivery Program here:http://www.volvocars.com/us/sales-se...s/default.aspx

When I was configuring the car I wanted on the Overseas Web page, I saw that they offered exterior and interior combinations that aren't available here in the US. I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could actually view those colors. (Like we can view the exterior colors offered in this county on the Volvo web page.) I'll go check out the link for the UK you posted to see if I see any of those color combinations there. Thanks a lot.

I see what you're getting into now. Do you plan on doing the Scandinavian vacation as well?

Personally, I would contact local Volvo and have them provide you with brochures, booklets, and documentation. If they fail, you can call Volvo of N. America in New Jersey or call Volvo overseas directly. It's odd that the site doesn't provide pictural info of the color schemes.

Yes, I'm hoping that when I save a little more money I can do take the vacation in Sweden with the Overseas Delivery program. Thanks for the suggestion!

Is the new S60 built in Sweden? The S60 at some time were all built in Belgium. Important to verify the location before planning the vacation.

Thanks alpac. They are definitely made in Sweden. If you go to the Overseas web page you can see the cars that are available for order at the Volvo plant in Sweden.

Hey Tarheel, read through these threads and ask your question there. There are a few dealers that contribute to the forum too so they'll be able to answer any questions you may have. Also you'll see a lot of pictures of the OSD trip and ideas about vacationing in Europe.
