Hey fellow ladys and gents.. i have a 2002 volvo s60 with a p0303 code, i replaced all the plugs with new ones, and replaces the coil also and im still getting the missing, shimmy engine run,, sounds like it could be starving for gas when at an idle, but when i rev the engine it sounds find, can anyone help.......what the next step.. thanks

 

John....who replaced the plugs and what brand??? also you replaced the coil pack??? when you drive the car is it sluggish and feel like its missing?? if so I think you may still have an issue with the coil pack....did the code tell you what cylinder was missing??? your OBDll scanner should be able to tell you what cylinder is missing...if you replaced the coil pack you could have a bad wire...check out this post where this individual had a similar issue, it may help you!

thanks for the info patsfn2,, it will be a couple of days before i can check the items you pointed out, but i will let you know whats up and what i find,,,thanks again for the info

 

P0303 is a cylinder 3 misfire. other than plugs, you could have a coil, injector, vacuum leak, or head gasket problem.
