Greetings all,

We have a 2016 V60 cross country purchased new. It has started setting a p0455 code. The gas cap seal was fine, but the ratcheting mechanism felt a bit weak and I figured she wasn’t getting it tight enough after getting fuel. So I replaced it with a non-oem gas cap. Unfortunately the problem has persisted. I have checked the purge valve, lines, and all of the plumbing between the filler neck, leak detection pump and canister. I cannot see anything leaking, abraded, disconnected or broken.

I figure my issue is likely one of the following:

1) need an OEM fuel cap
2) possible leak detection pump failure.

does anyone have any suggestions? Also, can you tell me where the vent solenoid is located, or is it built into the leak detection pump?
