p2 s60 HID conversion
Hi All,
I did some searching but couldn't find what I was looking for so apologies if this is a repost. My headlight assembly is falling apart on my 06 s60 2.5t and I wanted to replace them with the Xenon assembles from the R. Does anyone know if this is a simple plug and play? I would have wiring harnesses and complete assemblies to swap in. If I need to make a custom harness to link the two together that is fine ( may have seen this somewhere but it was worded weird.) Any input is appreciated, I have VIDA if anything is needed on that end of things.
Thanks All.

I just wanted to supply an update to maybe help others in the future. It appears to me like a custom wiring harness would be required to get the full function of the s60r headlights. Something unfortunate is that some s60r wiring harnesses from volvo have all gray wires which make them even harder to trace. This was simply too much work for something minor to me so I put my old ones back in until I order new halogen assemblies.
I do want to add, I took my car to a dealership and they said they could probably do a software update and get the headlights to work, but they had no success and didnt charge me. I am not sure what update they did last, but my 2006 S60 2.5T AWD now gets 12PSI peak boost rather than the stock 8PSI. So I have 0 complaints on that end, especially since it was free.
