anybody have success with painting fabric seats? I got these type seats, drivers side looking a little rugged, can't get it clean and was thinking about taping off leather and spraying it black with some fabric paint but I'm worried it won't come out good and then I'll be screwed. I've also been looking at getting full leather seats from a part out but I don't know what my car would be compatible with. It's a 2001 s60, what year and other models would have the same interior? thanks

 

Basic question, but have you tried renting a carpet cleaner for the fabric? They come with a hand held attachment that works really well on upholstery.

Replacement seats: 01-04 S60 T5 or R seats is what you want. The 2.5T seats will be flat and not bucket shaped. There may be more that cross over, car-part.com is a good place to look for junkyard donors.

 

awesome thanks for the info! I'll give that steam cleaner a try and if it doesn't work I'll start looking for leather seats, I saw a 2004 s60r full interior a couple hours away for 650, might have to bite the bullet
