Default parking sensor fitting

Hi guys jus fitted parking sensors to my S60 heres a few hints brought sensors off ebay £25 contents 4 sensors with harness. wireless box transmitter. harness live and ground .LCD screen with connection via cigarette lighter.Firstly i didn't,t wont cigarette adapter wonted to make more permanent so opened adaptor cut wires red live black ground mounted LCD on dash above radio removed cover around speed dials behind steering wheel .Theres a tiny gap in-between dash and the top dial cover. I squeezed wire in-between feed down below dial near steering column. Removed pen holder below air-con unscrewed 2 star screws at the bottom of unit this will pull out .With a screwdriver ease top out don,t be scared it will come.(DO NOT DISCONNECT AIR-CON) do the same with radio this gives you access to pull wire through.Take fuse out for cig lighter and solder (RED TO PURPLE BLACK TO BLACK) replace units that job is done. Firstly mark A & D sensor they
should be positioned on the
bumper 2cm below the
unpainted moulding in line with
the rear light indicator/reverse
light split see pic (left). The distance
between A and D sensor
is 134cm meaning the distance
between A - B sensor, B - C
sensor and C - D sensor is
44.6cm. The height from the
sensors to the ground is approx
55 to 57cm. Drill holes in
bumper. Remove both lights start with D get a coat hanger and straighten attach connector to hanger and feed out of right hole were you took lights out. Run wire along top of bumper and tuck down gap. next C again attach to hanger but this time feed along to B hole retrieve tape C and B to hanger feed to A then C B A feed out of left light gap.I pushed all wires through a vent at the bottom below fuse box using hanger attached to transmitter box and mounted find reverse light BLUE wire connect use BLACK for ground replace lights job done.
