Default Piece of car came off while driving

Hi all,

I lost the strip that goes from the driver's side door between the windshield and the pillar while driving a couple weeks ago. I'm wondering where the best place would be to get a new or good condition used piece?

Have any of you had this issue before, seems like the other side is getting loose? Do you just have to replace the clips over time?

Thanks,

-Mike

I lost both of these last year and it cost $105.00 each side to replace. My suggestion is look at local salvage yards and find one. The reason mine failed is at some point the windshield was replaced and they broke a few of the clips The first one came off one day driving on the highway the wind caught it just right and off it went the other came off in a touch less car wash when the blower was drying my car. Went back an hour later when i realized it but it was trashed by then. Yes replace the clips on both side if One is off the other is close behind . This is where you can buy them New .http://www.tascaparts.com/partlocato...layCatalogid=0
You need Parts #6 Im not sure what year your car is but you can make that adjustment when you get to the site GL
