Default Power Window Question?

My driver's side window makes a high pitched squeal/scratch noise when it moves up or down and I was wondering how I could fix it. Do I need to adjust the window, clean the window motor, adjust the seal etc... Just looking for a little guidance for an easy (probably classified as a "stupid") question.
I tried several searches but I couldn't find the exact info on this (I searched power windows in general)
Any help would be great! Thank you.....

Default Window Squeal

While at the dealer for some routine maintenance, I asked about that same trouble with my S80. The service rep said it is just that the tracks need lubed. the catch is that it's $100 just to pull the door panel off. I am going to tackle it myself today.

Yes some grease needs to be put between the sliders and the tracks.

Got both front windows done in about 30 minutes. Thanks to a search on this forum for "door panels" it was easy. It's here: https://volvoforums.com/forum/showpo...9&postcount=33 . I used a more conventional grease though. I recommend only disconnecting the tweeter since the window buttons are needed to position the blue sliders by opening and closing the window. I only had to pull the black foam insulation about one third of the way from the lower rear corner to get enough access for my grease applicator. Maybe that **** lube can fit into tighter openings. I am not familiar so I can't help there.
