radio, mini-jack, cd changer?
hey all,
I want to install some sort of mini jack connector to the radio (for mp3 player etc, tried the FM trans' and they have poor quality), I remember hearing somewhere that you could do it via a plug in the back for the cd changer, anyone have any info as to whether its possible or how/where anything relating to this is?
cheers!

I am thinking of doing the same thing, I've found two good sites..... http://www.ipdusa.com/product.asp?st...hStartRecord=1 and MP3yourcar.com
cheers derekkoop, but i was thinking more of a DIY job if its at all possible, plus i have a number of things i wanted to plug in with not just an ipod connection, like an MD player, i also got a phone thats got a minijack out and plays mp3s etc
I was poking about my car interior last night, somehow ended up taking the cover around the gear stick off, and noticed in there that there is a grey cable connector with about 8 cables going into the back of it, but its not connected to anything, anyone know what this is for? is it radio related?

Who has the better (and easier to install) kit? IPD at $150 or IMIV at $200 (with the cables they suggest)
I'm most intersted in the ability to control my ipod (track selection) with the steering wheel controls.
Thanks!
