Default Rear window stopper removal

I came across a thread on here that mentioned removing the door panels to take out a stop for the rear windows so that they will go all the way down.

Does anyone have any documentation on how to do this? Also, the question as to whether anthing else needed to be done or if this modification produces any additional risk was not answered... I'm still curious.

Thanks!!

Well, rear windows are usually "governed" to keep the tikes from being able to hang out the back window. If you don't have any such tikes, you're probably OK If I had kids, i wouldn't do it. Just one more thing to worry about!

Nah, no little ones. And hopefully none on the way

Guess I'll try pulling the panel this weekend.
