rebuilt s60

i have a chance to purchase a rebuilt 2007 s60 from my mechanic...for 6K
i have not tested it yet but it looks great..anything opinions on this?

Any more details about the car, mileage, maintenance history etc?

90k miles..bought at auction was in accident...my mechanic fixed all issues..certified by state after the repairs... idont have much else right now

I'm not one to say that KBB is the pricing bible for used cars but as a reference, they're valuing a "GOOD" condition car of similar mileage (I searched for a base model S60 T5) at around $5,400 and "EXCELLENT" condition at around $6,300. Rebuilt status on the title is a deal-breaker for some and to others it's not a big issue.

its a hard call to make...never looked at rebuilt cars..i will get a list of what repairs he made...and see what is what....i have been using this guys for repairs on my mazda for about 4yrs now...honest garage....
