I had a rock smash up my windshield pretty good this summer. Volvo is adamant that my sensors will stop working properly if I replace with a generic glass supplier. They want OEM only. My insurance company won't pay for OEM. Can anyone comment on whether or not aftermarket will wreck stuff? My car is an R-design. Has all the sensors, plus heated wiper blades, but no heads up display.
