Replacing Valve Body: How to identify Transmission and Part Number?
2005 Volvo S60 w 160k miles, hard downshifts from 3rd to 3nd gear when hot.
I finally found someone who replace the valve body.
Now the question is how to identify the transmission and exact part number.
It should be a Aisin AW55/50, but how do I make sure?
Then the exact part number. I see several refurbished ones on Ebay that say
"Interchange Part Number AW55-50SN, AW55-51SN, RE5F22A"
The numbers on the images on Ebay however show
T10 9168
9210272
How to identify the correct part?
Also, I see sets of Solenoids being offered. What's teh better choice?
Thanks!

its a web site that promotes/monetizes videos. Uh sounds risky like spam - not to mention off topic. As to which transmission - can we assume you have a five speed not a six speed auto?
Have you gone under the car to look for any stampings/part number plates? you may need to remove the lower valence/shroud.
Here's a wiki you may find helpful
