Default S 60 Heater blower does not work?

I have a 01 S 60 and blower motor doesn't work at all?

At the blower connection the red wire has no power, The black has a good ground. I would think there should be 12V at the red thick wire? Does the ccm send the power to the red wire?

All fuses good!

Everything works on the CCM but the fan, the fan lights light up when you try to turn fan up. There are no codes coming up.

I just bought the car, and when I picked it up battery was low from sitting, and almost didn't start, now the fan doesn't work and air bag light on? The person I got it from said it did work for them. But IDK if that's true???

Check fuse. Open driver's door. Little pop-off door. #3 (left bank, 3rd down). Has continual power, CCM controls speed rate. 30 amp fuse.

all fuses are good!

Ever thing seams to work with the CCM accept the blower fan, and there is no power to the blower fan!

You push the buttons to change where heat comes out, and it will change where it comes out, just no blower?

If you have no power to the red wire at the 4 pin connector, it's the fuse or the wire from the fuse.

All fuses seam to be good! Is there a fuse just for the blower motor?
Does it have a relay....???
Should the red wire at the blower have power all the time?

There are two red wires. Which red wire does not have power? The one for the 4 pin or the one from the 2 pin?

The one at the 4 pin. it the thick red wire. I think I only got a 4 pin connector the goes into blower?
Don't think mine has the 2nd 2 pin plug?

Here is a pic of the blower motor plug I'm talking about. It has a thick black wire, a thick red wire, a thin blue wire, and a thin yellow wire. The black has a good ground, the red has no power???

It should have power. Check power at the fuse. I think it's fuse 29

trosey, check power at the fuse means probe the fuse socket to see if you are getting 12V into the fuse - not whether the fuse appears to be good. This will help you work your way towards the pins for the blower.

Situation where my Snap On CTN10001 comes in handy. Problem is it died. Now to find the dealer when I'm not in the area he sells. A decent light probe works well too. Clip to ground and touch both metal tips on the fuse. ATC fuses have little metal nibs that come through for just this purpose. An ATC fuse can LOOK good, but in reality be broken. Looking up wiring diagram for you.

Here's a link to Pg 125 (Group 87 - Climate Control System).

Should be able to see it without a DropBox account. WTH 30+ goes to is beyond me, assuming a bus somewhere. Trying to figure out these diagrams. Been reading schematics for years (used to be my job). Their system of nomenclature and identification is funky. 11C/3 for the fuse? WTH? Volvo is fuse happy. Never seen so many fuse boxes in a car. Under hood, under dash (CEM), inside driver door, in trunk... egads.

Go here:

They have it all online. Beats cropping pages out of my .pdfs. PITA. Page 25. Fuse 6 (11E/6) is a 50amp that powers fuses 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 inside the door. Junction 53/415 could have a broken wire there or on 54/40C. BUT, if 53/415 is broken, then the functions of fuses 1, 2 & 3 (aka 11C/1, 2 or 3) wouldn't work. If it's 54/40C then all 5 functions on the first 5 fuses wouldn't function.
Do both power seats function? Yes? Then it's somewhere between the fuse #3 inside door and motor (solid wire, no junctions). If no, but mirrors and door locks work then it's at junction 53/415. If seats and mirrors/door locks don't work, then it's junction 54/40C or the big bus fuse #6 in trunk by battery. There, figured out the schematic.
