I am having the oddest time with the belt tensioner. Its the 2.0 4cyl turbo

I am replacing the AC compressor as the front seal has gone out.

I removed it from the car safely, but for the life of me cannot figure out how is should be de tensioned.

Its the Volvo 31460372

It has the giant exposed spring.

Anyone who has changed the serpentine belt or the tensioner, please let me know how this works, cannot find info on on ALLDATA DIY, doesn't cover 2015+

I have compressed the spring a little and gotten a pick in the hole, so I believe I am good, for reinstall, but I would really appreciate anyone who has dealt with it before to chime in.
