Default S60 2001 'Urgent Brake Service' light

This message appears for a bit in the morning and goes away shortly after warm up. The brake fluid is up-to-snuff and there are no brake leaks. Car has 63K on it - owned since new. Brakes were done at Volvo about 20K ago. I'm guessing it is a connector issue at the brake reservoir and will clean it. Not sure though...

Anyone have any insight into this?? Can't seem to find anything about it.

that msg usually come up when u r having a ABS or traction control problems. first I would check if u still have crusie control cuz that's the first function that they disable if there is a permanent fault

I totally agree with the cruise check, just to rule out this case.
I do, occasionally, get this msg along with anti-skid when I leave the car out of the garage overnight when the temperature drops too much. Especially when there's frost.
I had it checked (read) at Volvo and came up clean, they said that some sensor is affected by the icing conditions thus triggering the message. And, of course, everything gets back to normal after warming up ;-)
Hope this helps.
