S60 AWD noise when turning

Hello Everyone,
First post here... I recently purchased my first Volvo. It's a 2011 S60 T6 AWD. So far I really like this car, it is so nice to drive!
I need some help figuring out a noise that I'm hearing. Sometimes when I turn the wheels left and right I hear a popping or pinging noise. This noise happens when I'm not moving and when moving slowly. I don't notice it while driving at highway speeds, but maybe I don't turn sharp enough at speed to make the noise. I mainly hear this noise during and right after driving in rainy or snowy conditions. After driving on dry roads for a couple days the sound goes away. Any suggestions what this might be?
Thanks for your advice!

I would suspect a point in your suspension with a failed rubber component (lower control arm, ball joint, or a strut mount. Something that is normally not exposed to the elements but when the elements get in more slop is introduced. Time to put the car up on some jack stands and look for worn parts.
