S60 Long Term Reliability?
Have a 2002 S60 with 57,000 miles. Car has been well maintained.
I'm concerned because in December the passenger window "control module" (?) went out - $600. The "PNP module/switch" (?) needs to be replaced because the engine hesitates around 20 MPH - $600. Last week the ABS module died and that is around $1200.
I've spent about $2000 in maintenance for wear items. No complaints there. If I complete the above repairs I'll be at around $3000.
My question is - am I better off putting the money in to this car or am I looking at similar and more frequent repairs down the road?

Holy Cow! Are you buying your parts from the Dealer? There are some parts on these cars that tend to go out. PnP switch seems to be one of those. I recomend FcP grotton for some savings. I do agree that certain models have a few things that are common and it sounds as if you fixed those. In my opinion it is easier to fix those and drive for a few years than to make payments on a car and those might still go out!
