Good morning

We have a S60 D5 2012 that went under a timebeltchange and 35000 km later the belt slipped and the motor went over on time, everything was done by a Volvo licenced service, when asked the answer they gave was that it must have happened after a snowstorm since the time fits and it happens , I have searched the forums and the internet and not found anything about this so I ask here. It had nothing to do with the auxillery belt, not this time
Has anyone ever heard about a timebelt slip because of snowstorm?
