S60 Turbo - Running after turning off ??
2001 s60 turbo w/30k miles. just bought.Veryclean car. After first drive I parked in garage. Wife told me about 30 minutes later I left the car running. Sure enough there was a noise coming from the engine compartment. Hood was very hot. Got in and found the AC blower running. No key in ignition. turned engine on then off and made sure all AC functions were turned off. This stopped whatever was running.
Opend hood and found the black tube, which I take to be part of the turbo system, was very hot. I would have expected the engine compartment to be cooler after 30 or more minutes with engined off.
Any idea what happened?
Pete

The A/C system has something called the "After Blow Function" it comes on 30 to 50 minutes after the car has been turned off to dry the evaperator so it won't grow mold easily.
Yes it will still be hit under the hood 30 minutes later that is normal.
