Ok, Volvo S60 2001 2.0T,

went to start car this afternoon, nothing happened when i turned key first two turns, No lights on dash at all, radio came on and interior light, thats it, then turned to start and it turns over but wont start.

Now car wont lock/unlock and cant operate windows which i had left open earlier so hoping for no rain tonight.

Checked all poss fuses and gave relays a tap, battery is spot on, im just baffled!

Any help appreciated, thanks in advance, rog.

 

Maybe the battery is bad? Do you have a volt meter to measure voltage at the battery?

 

the battery is spot on its powering the starter motor no problem. it just wont start as if its the immobiliser, but it seems like a problem before the immobiliser in the electrical circuit.

How do you access the 60A fuses under the engine fuse box?
