Default Service manual, brakes, and wheel bearings

I posted this over on VolvoSpeed earlier today and haven't gotten much of a response, hoping maybe you guys can help...

I just recently purchased a 2002 S60 2.4T with ~43K miles on it.

Does anyone have a source for service manuals? I tried going to volvotechinfo.com, but only saw service bulletins, dealer prep checklists, etc.

I'm doing the brakes on it and thought I'd pack the wheel bearings while I had some of it apart. Can't seem to get the rotors off though. Am I missing something? I've removed the center axle/CV-joint bolt and the 10mm bolt on the rotor. I've hit it pretty hard with my 3 lb dead blow, do I just need a bigger-FH? I've also heard/read that the wheel bearings are sealed, should I even be concerning myself with packing wheel bearings?

Any chance you guys know the torque values for the brake caliper bolts, the center axle/CV-joint bolt, and the 10mm rotor bolt? That would allow me to delay my search for a service manual a bit longer.

Thanks in advance and sorry if these questions have already been answered elsewhere, I did honestly try searching first... but I AM a noob.

Dustin

Hey if its anything like my 95 Vw gti that had sealed bearings you need a press to get the hub out. If the are sealed and you arent getting any noise leave them alone you gonna do more damage messing with them. As for the rotor is there any small screws holding it on the hub?

There was one small 10mm bolt, yes. I removed it. I'm leaning towards the "if it ain't broke, don't f- with it" approach.

Rotors look good, within spec, only slighly cupped, I'm considering not even turning them. Pads were only half as thick as the new ones.

The rotor is stuck to the hub. Bigger hammer.

Don't worry about the bearing.

Sorry don't have the torque spec's home.

Thank you again!! Mind if I ask where you got these values from? If it's a secret, I understand... but I'd like to have a service manual and cost is a low priority at this point.

No secret. They are from the VADIS 2005/6 disc which I bought, quite legally, on eBay UK. It is not a comprehensive repair manual but it does cover the more common DIY repairs, although it is intended for Volvo shops.

I understand that they are also available on the US site but that the price is much higher. I have not checked that information.
