Default Should I buy a used S60 2.5T ? Help!

Trading in a Chevy Tahoe, came across this 2009 S60 with 63k on the clock. Dealer is willing to bargain on it but am reallllly unsure. I've never owned a Volvo before and have heard some maintenance nightmare stories. Put my mind at ease please? Might pull the trigger today if I hear some glowing reviews! Thanks in advance!

I will likely never own another brand of car. Is it turbo? Ask a few Volvo owners in the area, if the dealer has good service/customer support.

Any other S60 owners of this model year? There is surprisingly little info on the web about this vehicle. Most I've read has been good though.

We own a 2008 S60 2.5T. Bought it in 2009 with 31k on it...is a former rental car. It now has 106k on it and we've done nothing but maintenance on it. 7500 mile oil changes, 22,500 mile tranny fluid changes, fuel, cabin, and air filters once...put a set of tires on it, etc. It's now time for PCV, timing belt, brakes, shocks, etc...we'll spend close to $2000 on it now in maintenance, but this is the only big one.
Honestly this car has been a dream for us...runs like a top, gets good mileage (30+ at 65 mph on highway), and drives good. If the dealer will work with you I wouldn't hesitate.

The 2.5T motor is a very stout engine. The early S60s had some issues but after about '05 they have been very reliable based on Consumer Reports feedback I've read. You should be good with your 09, I'd say go for it.

Im also owning used 09 S60, to be precise not just used but a salvage one (I've got it from volvo salvage offering cheap cars for sale). And I never experinced any maintenance nightmares lol, except that I should do some repairs, but as I understood you are buying a clean title car so I guess you have nothing to worry about.
