Default Should I buyout my 2018 s60 lease?

This is my 2nd lease (1st was 2016 s60 t5 premier fully loaded). Now have 2018 inscription with 19,000 miles. Decided not to go with new Volvo because I don’t like the 2021 s60 looks or drive ( lost the handling I love about my 2018 and 2016). Tried the XC60 and thought the front end handling on turns was terrible. In addition, I have MCS (multiple chemical sensitivity)which causes me to react adversely to products that cause the “new car smell”. When I got 2016 I did so because the new 2016 Passat (I had come out of 2013 Passat which I loved) made me sick. The 2016 s60 was a loaner with 7,000 miles and had no off gassing at all. When I leased the brand new 2018 s60 no off gassing either!!

The 2021 models make me feel sick immediately upon entering the vehicle. Even tried a demo with 3,000 miles. Same reaction.
Moved on and found most brands causing negative reactions for me. Honda and Acura were the least offensive. Tried Mercedes but they use leatherette and lots of plastic so couldn’t get it. Finally found a BMW X3 that the dealer used for sales people. Has 4,000 miles and NO offgassing!! Made a better deal than Volvo gave me for a superior driving vehicle.

we are replacing my husbands car with the BMW. I am considering buying out my lease on 2018 s60. The residual value is 22,100. Tax brings it up to 25 ish. Our mechanic says to buy the best warranty that Volvo offers because these cars get a lot of electrical issues that are expensive to fix. So I’m guessing that the warranty will be pricey. My husband thinks I may be paying too much for the car compared to market value. But I say what car would I get for about 30,000 that is comfortable and has the features of my s60?
