Do you get Sirius stations? (You might need to hit an Aux button or something like that.)
When I installed XM Radio I tried to do it so that it'd be undetectable. They could have hard-wired it and done a good job of hiding the components. Regardless, you should be able to find the antenna although it's just a small cube with a magnet to hold it to the car, usually on the roof or near the bottom of the windshield or rear window. Also, you should be able to find Sirius stations...

I'm selling a Sirius InV Satellite Radio Complete Installation Kit on ebay right now. Item # 120157629974
Works Great in my s60. Easy to install too. I can't believe I've been listening to FM all this time. I have this extra one that I was going to install in my other car before I sold it.

I had XM radio for a long time - installed in both of our cars. I liked it a lot when I was in DC where the commute could take anywhere from 1.5 - 3 hours (each way!). Now that I have a 12 minute commute it's not worth the subscription costs.
P.S. I prefer XM to Sirius (and I think the number of customers has shown XM to be more popular - despite Sirius' large celebrity contracts: Howard Stern, Oprah, etc). Also, I heard from XM that they were merging anyway. Did that end up happening?

As of now they still have not merged. Still waiting on congress and or the FCC to allow (which is a crock anyway). Each has their on plusses and negatives, I prefer Sirius (Howard) but it also has the NFL, NBA NASCAR and a large amount of College Football.
I have Sirius in my car (portable) and I used to have XM when I had Direct TV and I prefer Sirius. I have noticed in a few cars I was in that had XM that they were playing a commercial on one of the music stations which they do not do on Sirius. They only play them on the talk and even then it is a small amount compared to regular radio.
Either way I could never go back toregular(Free FM as they call it here in NY).

to really answer your question - they "prewired" your car for sirius, However, you will need to spend another 500-700 to actually have the tuner installed into the vehicle by the dealer. I just found that out on my own car. so the $95 was so that you could have the option to get sirius.
