My '02 has started squeaking loudly when I move in reverse. The intensity of the noise is not always the same, and, in fact, it's not even always there, but it usually is.

The squeak only happens in reverse and only happens while moving, not braking. I honestly have no idea what it would be. Any thoughts?

Same issue with my 98 V70, it seemed to start after I cleaned the engine with engine brite. So I guess I cleaned off some lube that was doing it's job...did you ever figure out what it was? I also recently did a front brake job...
