Default steering wheel

If anyone can help, it would be more than welcome!!

I have a Volvo S60 2.OT 2005 model and sometimes when I take my hands away from the steering wheel i see that the car is changing direction, either left or right. I checked the tires, but they don't seem to have any problem. I don't know if i should blame the condition of the road, but this is happening lately more often.
My dealer says that there is no problem, and that this could be happening for a million reasons.

Does anyone knows something more????

What size tires do you have?

Yes it could be from the road.
It could be an alignment problem as well.

225/55/17', P6000. I think the point is that it doesn't matter if the tires are worm or cold. It happens with all speeds and in all kind or roads. Specially you can feel it when aproaching a traffic light with almost no speed at all. Same thing when you are driving fast and take your hands away from the steering wheel.

The reason I wanted to know the size is because Volvo's have very very touchy steering. And when you have the 17's it is even worse. The slightest bit of difference in the road will make it pull or drift while driving.

The cars with the 15's aren't as bad.The wider the tire the more you feel it.

I went throgh the same thing with my Mustang when you start putting wider tires on they get touchy with the road groves.

tech thank you!! the question now is why the official dealer sold me the car (new) with these tire dimensions. When I test drive a similar S60, i felt the steering wheel "light", if you know what i mean. The feeling with mine steering wheel it's better, but still i can't get used to it.

The cars come stock with 17's.That is an option with the S60's.

That is normal to feel a difference between the 15's and the 17's.

thanx a lot again. I have one more question, if that is not a problem for u. I turned on the heating seats, but even after 15 minutes felt like almost no heat. Why is that? I know that 80's and XC 90's heat up real well, real soon. Any ideas??

They are designed to not come on unless the temp outside is below a certain temp. It will need to be like 35 or 40 degrees outside for them to be able to come on.
