Default Strange power seat/sideview mirrors issue.

This is the strangest car issue that I've ever encountered. Maybe someone can explain to me why this happened, if it's a serious issue and if so, if it can be fixed relatively inexpensively.
Today I was trying to reprogram the driver seat position memory buttons on my 2005 S60 2.5T. However, since I had forgotten the proper steps to accomplish this, and not being able to consult the Owner's Manual due the cop waiting immediately behind me at the same red light; I decided to get creative and start pushing the buttons in random and not so random patterns hoping I would stumble on the right combination eventually. Somehow I managed to erase all three seat positions stored in memory but the strangest thing happened when I held the MEM button down while pressing seat position memory button #1. When I did that, my sideview mirrors started moving on their own and did not stop until I fiddled with their controls. I repeated the experiment and sure enough, the mirrors started moving as soon as I pressed the MEM and #1 memory buttons simultaneously.
This seems like a software issue to me but perhaps someone who's more experienced in these matters can jump in.

I just read the owner's manual. Apparently the driver seat position memory buttons store sideview mirrors position as well. Duh....
