Struts/Shocks
I also installed the KYBs and have been very happy with them. When doing the fronts, I would suggest doing the upper spring seat and possibly the bearing if there is any movement or noise. I did both, but my bearings were actually in pretty good shape once I checked them out...
Let me know if anyone needs a set of upper bearings. (Free for the shipping...)

Volvo is usually Sachs.. the OEM brand replacement....
If you have the money, Bilstein is about the best you can get, but expect to pay almost twice the OEM price and maybe even 4x the price of say Monroe...

I installed Bilstein HD struts on my 2004 S60 2.5T about 1 month ago. On the plus side, they have made a positive impact on steering response and ride control. On the negative, they have added a certain amount of harseness to the overall ride particularly at lower speeds and of course they are more expensive the other brands.
A few suggestion; 1) replace related components including the strut bearings, strut mounts, boots and bump stops with OEM parts (I used KYB on my first go around and 2 weeks later, the strut bearings were making a very loud grinding noise) . 2) Make sure the bushings in the control arms are in good shape.
Good luck
