Hi guys I have problem with brake lights they came on after big rain and I managed to turn them off but now when car is on lights are on all time,brake light switch is ok and it is working when car is off, fuses are ok, REM I can not check and CEM same thing, I do not know what else to check thank you.

 

Must be the switch. Which ones are on? Post a picture.

 

left right and center brake lights,I checked switch and is working when engine is off brake lights come off and when engine is on brake lights come on

 

I meant the light switch that controls the head lights. The are on when the key is OUT of the ignition?

 

head lights are ok only brake lights are on when engine is on

 

and giving me message check brake lamp

 

I am thinking to go to volvo to scan CEM and REM

 

The more you write about it the more I think your rear fog is on. You need to post a picture.

The brake lights are indipendant of the car running. You can get in a car, press the brake pedal, and the brake lights will come on. Has nothing to do with the car running. If you have a brake/cruise cut off switch malfunctioning, maybe they can come on when the car is running but I doubt that.
