Good morning,
I have never owned a volvo before, although I have had G35 6MT, 3000GT's and mostly Jap cars. I read some posts on how expensive R's can be when it comes to maintenance. Although I drove an 05 R 6 speed and was suprised how fast it was and I fell in love on how it looks/handles.. I was about to buy it but he had 4 different tires on the car and was told this was bad for the drivetrain, so I decided to cann the sale. I did see another R model but it is an 04 model and automatic. He says he just got it checked from the volvo dealer and said everything works perfect. But the down side for me is it has 111,000 miles on it and his timing belt has not been changed. He wants 9000 dollars for it. Do you all think this would be a good buy? Thanks for the input.. Gerard
