I have a 2009 S60. I recently drained the transmission fluid and refilled. When I check the level of the fluid when the car is hot it reads at the low level on the yellow dip stick. When I put the dip stick back in and check a second time it reads high. It appears fluid get in the tube area and causes a false reading.

Any ideas?

I have heard check while the car is running. I have not tried this yet.
