Uneven Tyre Wear TEST fails

Hi all,
new V60 owner here in the UK
whilst searching for the one I wanted to buy, I searched dealerships and advertisements and was checking MOT records for the cars online
I found that the common re-occuring fail in the test's was un-even tyre wear, balding on the inside edge
I can't seem to find any information on this issue on the forum
Does anyone else have experience of this uneven tyre wear, and most importantly, know the fix?
It would be great to get sorted before it starts eating tyres on me too

My 2015 V60 is about to get what I presume is its third set of tires at ~54,000 miles (I bought it as a CPO with 43,000 miles on the clock - I assume that the Sumitomo tires it was fitted with were replacements for the OEM tires) The tires are worn but the wear patter is even with no sign of the pattern you are asking about.

uneven tire wear comes from two common causes - worn or bent suspension components or wheel alignment issues. Not sure of the history of new V60s but I own a VW CC which has a well documented history of tire wear. Some blamed the OEM Conti's for getting noisy when worn but I have found my car needs to be aligned 2X a year (I always get the print outs to see the specs). I've also had the dealer and tire shop do a complete check for suspension issues (bushings/shock mounts/strut mounts) and car's always come back clean so I just do alignments with each summer/winter tire changeover.
