Check all the dealers in your area - the ones you would be able to drive the car to - to have the new key programmed to the car. They all can charge different prices -
And perhaps don't purchase the cut emergency key if you have another.

Your options are:
1) Shop around if you have other dealers in the area. But that's about the going rate for parts and labor.
2) Find an independent shop that has VIDA and a subscription to allow software downloads. But since the pay for that, guess where those costs go... To the customer.
3) Buy a 3 day VIDA subscription, VOE adapter and cable, software and do it yourself.
