V60 PHEV battery does not charge when plugged-in
Please can some one help?
I recently purchased 2017 V60 Plug-In hybrid car in England which has done 49k miles. It came with a 3 pin yellow charge cable.
The charging has been working fine but since last week it has stopped charging.
Small rugby ball shape unit on charging cable has 2 LEDs, one of which is constantly flashing RED approximately
once every second, the other LED remains unlit. Why is this happening? Is there any way I can reset this?
Apparently, before this car I owned a V60 2016 PHEV which had the same problem so I sold it as was.
Because both cars have same problems, I am wondering if it has an underlying issue?
many thanks
UPDATE
last night I plugged the charge cable to the mains 13amp socket without plugging-in the other end to the car. I then powered on.
It seem that the charging cable got automatically reset.
Turned off the wall socket and then plugged the other end to the car. To my surprise it started to recharge my car. Wonderful.
