last week I have bough S60 Automatic gear 2001 benzine
the odometer was not working fully the driver door module also not working and gas tank lock
after searching, I found out the Odometer was for a diesel car and not a benzine
then I have bought a second hand installed it, and it's completely off, Volvo car service told me I should program it to match with motor ecu.
I have tried 4 front door module and none of them working
somehow it works for 2 minutes and then again none
i have done a diagnosis test and a list of information came out, and I have no idea what should I do
may some of you that have experience and knowledge help me with that

I thought you are expert gathering in this forum, not just poor people like me.

 

Most modules are "coded" to the VIN of the car they are installed in and most used modules are not plug and play. For a door module on some cars if one is bad, you purchase a NEW module and use VIDA to program the NEW module. VIDA can't program a USED module.

You might check with xemodex.com - they are an aftermarket source of repaired or cloned modules.

 

I have purchased a used DIM, have an appointment with Volvo service hoping after reprogramming that dim to my car with Vida Dice all works fine.
The door module is tricky, knowing that the used one can't work really hurts me.
The Tank module also received the command to open the tank but doesn't receive any command to close it, funny!!,
I'm mostly sure it has no cable damaged, it has to do something related to commands issue like as Odometer (DIM) or motor ecu.
I will update the post and inform you this week.
