Default S60 Navigation

I will try to answer your question as non technical as I can be. Bottom line answer is no you cannot use an aftermarket Nav/DVD/Radio unit in your car for a couple of different reasons. One is that your factory radio is intigrated into the electronic system in your car. The minute you unplug the factory radio harness you are going to get the ABS/Airbag light come on. The only way you can gain a Nav unit into your car is to either buy the Volvo Unit(4400.00) Yes that is correct, or you can buy a stand alone system and mount a screen somewhere. Or of course buy a portable Nav Unit. Alpine makes a Unit, it is the TME S370. You can then buy a Hide away Nav/DVD player/Brain Box and add that to your system. Take it to a reputable shop that is familiar with Volvo though, because if they trigger the ABS/Airbag light it is going to cost you 165.00 to get it reset trust me I have already been through all that. Hope this helps.
