Volvo S60 R's reliability
hello everyone, i currently own a saab 93 aero and the volvo s60 R caught my attention at the car show(actually i thought it was the nicest car there). I'm just wondering how the reliaibilty is now that Ford owns it. I read that the suspension had some problems (which is ok with me as long as the dealer takes care of it) and a soft clutch, thats all i have read until now. So i came across this forum if you can please help me with some non biased info about the cars reliaibilty mainly. I've been to the dealer too often with the saab and the AWD and the 300 hp are definitely drawing me in. Also i found one used a 2002 with about 12,500 miles, i'm hoping to talk the dealer down to from $34,900 to 30,500 i know its low balling, maybe $32,500 is more realistic. If anyone could help i'd appreciate it, hope to be a bigger part of this forum soon. Thanks for your time!

RE: Volvo S60 R's reliability
I drove the S60R a couple months ago and loved it. The clutch is a bit soft, but according to Volvo it's that way to reduce wear. Soft isn't really even the right word. Clutch effort is really light, but at half engagement it comes on sudden. The car really is a lot of fun to drive though and is very comfortable.
