To start it and keep it running i have to give it gas and it only goes to 2k rpm then as soon as I let off the gas pedal it dies any recommendations for me??

 

For your year - you might need a throttle module. (a common/expensive failure) What codes do you have? If you can't read those - you might want to find someone who can. The 2001 turbo uses the known to all fail throttle module - when was yours replaced?
