Warm Start ... Oxygen Sensor(s)?
Hello all you lovely volvoers,
Got a 2001 S60T, had a few problems with the well loved "engine systems blah blah blah" message, took it to volvo, they diagnosed the ECM, had it replaced + the software upgrade and throttle body clean, that fixed the problem for the random occurance of the message, but now when I warm start, it throws it up again and goes into some slow accelaration mode, if I let the engine cool for a few hours and restart then the problem goes away, light stays on for a few more starts then goes off until I warm start again and so on, anyone else had this problem? ... could it be to do with the oxygen sensors?
Any input much appreciated!

I havent checked the codes, so wouldnt know for sure ... but if they did throw a lean/rich code, wouldn't that throw up the engine systems etc? or would it just record the code? ...... the reason Im thinkin that its the O2's is that maybe a warm exhaust coupled with dodgy sensors could trigger it, not that im any expert on car repair or anything but Ive scouted about the net for answers, and a few ppl had similar prob's but no mention of warm starts, so from a novice point of view it occured that they could be the cause, just looking for ppl to throw possibilities in to add to my one and only idea before I take it to volvo and they kick my nuts for lotsa money

okay so today I drove to work ... no message, normal performance ... its been quite a hot day and my car has been sitting in the sun all day so the engine is quite warm, on leaving work I get the message and very slow acceleration, drove all the way home, switched off engine, restarted after 10 seconds, still got the message but the acceleration has returned back to normal ... damn im lost!!, so its something to do with the engine being warm/hot, but not with immediate restart when the engine is red hot ... nobody got any ideas???
