I've researched and the only thing I find is how to reset it.


I just want to know what does it particularly mean? Mine comes on when I cut the car on and stays on for a couple of minutes then goes away. What needs to be services? I'm not due for another oil change until 10k more miles.

It comes on based on time, engine hours and mileage. Yours needs to be reset.

Could it have to do with the fact I did ALOT of driving this weekend? My best friend is here and wants to sight see and I've basically taken this girl to the moon and back. I've even gone through two whole full tanks taking this woman around.

I've just never had it come on before unless I needed an oil change.

 

It comes on strictly after certain intervals. Not sure what year you have, but I believe the S60s are 7500 miles, 750 engine hours or 1 year.
