What transmission does my car have?

I have a 2002 S60 AWD 2.4T Geartronic 5 Speed auto tranny. What model number is it? AW 50-55?

That's what it should be. AW50-55.

How did the dealer service go?

Tranny Service

I dont have the car back yet. Just wanted to give them a heads up on the recommended fluid to use before they proceed.

Volvo JWS 3309/mobil 3309/toyota t-iv. Is what is recommended.They are all the same fluid. You will read that there are other that meet JWS3309 SPECS But it is Not 3309. Stick with what works

I have a volvo s60 automatic non-turbo. I have notice the car glides from first to second gear. I heard the 01-02 have the worse tranny and i was wondering if the 03 or newer year tranny would fit?

What tranny does my car have?

Just got the car back from the dealer. They did change the tranny fluid and used the 3309 fluid. So far so good but have only driven it about 25 miles. Will see over the next week or so.
