where to buy cheap(er) tranny oil?
Hi All,
2 questions here:
1) what type of tranny oil do I need for 2001 s60 t5?
2) where can I buy it so I don't have to pay dealer price?
Any tips are very appreciated.

For JWS 3309 fluid for your AW55-50 transmission you have the following options:
Toyota T-IV - 5 to 6 bucks a quart if you buy a full case at the Toyota dealer
Mobil ATF 3309
The following multi-vehicle fluids also meet the JWS 3309 spec.:
Castrol Transmax Import Multi-Vehicle
Idemitsu ATF-HP, available at Cottmann transmission centers
There are more. Any tranny fluid with a "J" in the name is probably JWS 3309 compliant. e.g. Nissan Matic-J. Check the label.

If it is an Auto Please Only Use VOLVO JWS3309,mOBIL3309 or Toyota T IV. The fluid is NON-SYNTHETIC and yes there are JWS3309 specs in most ATF but there are many guys that have had issues after the use of Non 3309 fluid.... Toyota dealer is the best place most times.... 14 qts. for a full Drain/Fill flush...
