1998 S70 bolt arrangement for rims?
Does the Volvo S70 have a speacial bolt arrangement for its rims? Do I have to buy 'Volvo' nameplate rims or do regular aftermarket 5 bolt rims fit. A guy at my local Volvo dealership told me that the setup was unique to volvo; was he just trying to sell me rims, or was he right. I don't want to order $700 rims from the States and have the wrong configuration. Any help is much appreciated.
Has anyone bought rims form carid.com for their car? They ask for the year, make, and model of your car and whether it has modified suspension. Do they use all this info to find the bolt arrangement for the car and then drill the bolt pattern? Nobody on the website could answer the question for me. I don't want to order $700 rims and have the wrong bolt arrangement.
Any help is great thanks.

I dont think they drill.
My guess is they want to get the offsets, front wheel drive, etc right..
Although some wheels can come in multiple patterns, ex 5x 108- 5x114
Again, Volvo pattern is 5x108 mm ( for the S70) I think factory is 6.5" by 15" or 16"

what's the difference in front wheel drive rims wise? as in: what's the reason you mention that?
