I have a 98 s70 glt turbo that is has P0243 Wastegate solenoid code (only code being thrown). My wife has a 98 V70 turbo, so I swapped the MAF and no imporvment (V70 still runs fine as well). It idles perfect. If I step on the gas while driving there is not much power, it then stutters, blows black smoke and stalls. It will restart and idle perfect, it's only when you drive the car that it stalls. The car started stalling at stop lights and got progessively worse over a two week period to the point that it cannot be driven anymore. Car has 190k on it. Any suggestions on what to check next?

anyone have an idea of what I should be looking for next?

 

I have a 98 S70 GLT with 156k on it, I am also experiencing stalling at lights but I do not have a lack of power. My car is throwing 4 codes: P0103, P0243, P0410, P0455. I dont know if the other codes will help find a solution but I will try and document what worked and or didnt work for my problem.
