1998 s70 non-turbo egr valve

I am looking around my throttle body and no where in sight I see a EGR valve,does my car come equipped with one or is it called something else.

I don't think any S70 came with a EGR valve. You'll have a flame trap and PCV system. You can run your VIN at the Volvo site and it will tell you.
