I have a 1998 S70 and the drivers side seatbelt will not pull out of the wall. It worked fine today, then I hit the brake and it locked as I was grabbing it to put it on. But since hitting the brake the belt will not pull out of the wall! How can I fix this?

I think you have to take the cover off and release some sort of spring, but I am really not that sure. Have your tried searching for an answer? I know I've seen this before, but don't really remember exactly how to do it. Try looking here and on volvospeed.com and mathewsvolvosite.com. I'm sure you will find the answer in one of those places.
