I do love this car, however during this last week it has been acting really funny. First thing was since a week ago when I am driving it, the headlights have been dimmed going from bright to dim, in addition, my warning lights will flicker on and off at random times. Today however, I drove it a lot today and went to start it up about an hour ago and it cranks once and stalls. All of lights come on and my stereo works, however it will not start. My O2 sensor has been faulty for about 2 months now, I just haven't needed to get it fixed since my gas mileage is actually better now.

Again, I really appreciate the help. My car is 2000 S70 SE non-turbo.

cranks once, then stalls? as in, won't turn anymore? Because the symptoms you're describing are classic "failing alternator" symptoms. See if it will start with jumper cables, then go get the alternator and battery tested.

 

yea it wont crank anymore exactly...okay will do! i really appreciate your help I will let you know what happens thanks!
